HOLY ZIGZAG STAIRWAYS OF PORTUGAL

The concept of the construction is amazing. At the foot of the mountain starts a zigzag way to the temple. Going up a pilgrim is supposed to empathize the martydoms and the way of Jesus Christ to the cross. Each turn is decorated with a little chapel devoted to one of the event of those days Bom Jesus do Monte is a Portuguese sanctuary in Tenoes, surroundings of the city of Braga, in northern Portugal. Its name means Good Jesus of the Mount. The Sanctuary is a notable example of pilgrimage site with a monumental, Baroque stairway that climbs 116 metres (381 feet). It is an important tourist attraction of Braga.

BUBBLE HOTEL ROOMS IN LOCAL PARK

The French town of Roubaix, has recently opened a series of portable hotel rooms in a local park. They can be rented by people who want to feel close to nature in the middle of the urban jungle. The unusual bubble rooms were launched in 2010 and have since then been made available to people who want to enjoy a unique experience in the middle of nature, for around $700 a night.

INTERNATIONAL KITE FESTIVAL IN GUJARAT, INDIA

Tourism Corporation of Gujarat has celebrated the International Kite Festival 2011 with wholesome participation from all over the globe at Sabarmati River Front. International Kite Festival is held at Ahmedabad every year. Kite flying enthusiasts from different parts of the world arrive at Ahmedabad to take part in the international competition. The festival draws expert kite-makers and fliers not only from cities of India but also from around the world.
