DERAWAR FORT,PAKISTAN-PROPERTY OF ROYAL FAMILY

Derawar Fort an historic place of Pakistan is located about 80 km from the city of Bahawalpur in Punjab province in Pakistan. Derawar Fort is a large square fortress.The forty bastions of Delawar are visible for many miles in Cholistan Desert. The walls have a circumference of 1500 meters and stand up to thirty meters high.

Derawar Fort the Jaisalmir property of the royal family until 1733, when Pakistan became the property of princely state Bahavalpur. In the same year it was reconstructed. Derawar Fort is part Ganweriwala, the archaeological area of ancient Indus Valley culture, the so-called Indus culture.

This is a beautiful fort , so well captured. obivious question, Travelled to Pak? Any person with even a little intrest in ancient intrest would love to visit Mohenjadaro. Lets hope a day will dawn when we could live peacefully and walk across borders.
